Speech Language Pathologist — Acute Care | Willows, California | Travel - Temporary Assignment
This travel assignment starts on 10/05/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. You’ll be paid $2,480 to $2,578 per week with guaranteed 35 hours per week. The shift is 5x8 days (08:00–16:30). Work setting: Skilled Nursing Facility delivering acute care services to residents. This is a temporary travel opportunity managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

- Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility with acute care focus Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations for residents with communication and swallowing disorders.
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with resident needs and facility policies.
- Provide direct therapy and document progress, adjusting goals as appropriate.
- Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation, medical, and therapy teams to support safe, efficient resident care and discharge planning.
- Educate residents and families on communication strategies and dysphagia management; ensure patient safety and adherence to HIPAA standards. Requirements
- Active licensure to practice speech-language pathology in California (or eligibility to obtain licensure)
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility environment within a travel assignment
- Experience with adult populations, including communication and swallowing disorders (acute care or SNF setting preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and documentation skills; ability to collaborate across interdisciplinary teams
