Senior Manager, Enterprise Communications & Change

The Senior Manager, Enterprise Communications & Change is a hands-on communications leader responsible for turning enterprise priorities and change initiatives into clear, engaging communications.
You will own recurring internal communications while supporting strategic transformation, technology implementations, organizational changes, and other high-impact initiatives.
The role serves a diverse range of audiences, including employees, leaders, prospective talent, healthcare stakeholders, government and advocacy groups, and business partners.
You will create communications across multiple formats, from newsletters and executive messaging to presentations, videos, FAQs, toolkits, and digital content.
Working within a small, agile team, you will partner closely with leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate messaging and enable effective change adoption.
The position encourages experimentation with new communication channels, AI, automation, and other technologies to improve reach, efficiency, and engagement.
It also provides meaningful exposure to enterprise priorities and opportunities to grow toward broader strategic communications leadership.

Accountabilities:

• Execute enterprise communication strategies and plans in partnership with the Strategic Communications Leader.
• Translate business priorities and organizational objectives into clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate communications.
• Own the recurring internal communications calendar, including monthly newsletters, quarterly All Hands communications, leadership messaging, organizational announcements, and employee campaigns.
• Develop communication plans and deliverables supporting strategic initiatives, transformation programs, technology implementations, organizational changes, and other significant business priorities.
• Support communications for selected external audiences, including healthcare stakeholders, government and advocacy groups, prospective talent, industry audiences, and business partners.
• Draft, edit, produce, and coordinate high-quality communication materials across multiple formats.
• Develop emails, presentations, talking points, FAQs, toolkits, videos, digital content, job aids, executive materials, external briefs, and related assets.
• Create practical resources that enable leaders and supervisors to effectively cascade enterprise messages to their teams.
• Develop leader-ready talking points, meeting guides, FAQs, toolkits, and other change-enablement materials.
• Evaluate communication channels and introduce approaches beyond traditional email, including video, digital platforms, live forums, visual storytelling, mobile-friendly content, and leader-led communications.
• Leverage approved AI, automation, and communication technologies to improve the speed, quality, personalization, creativity, and efficiency of communication development and delivery.
• Partner with senior leaders, subject-matter experts, Human Resources, Marketing, Operations, project teams, and other stakeholders to understand communication objectives and requirements.
• Manage communication calendars, production schedules, stakeholder reviews, approvals, distribution, and competing priorities.
• Coordinate dependencies and timelines to ensure consistent and reliable delivery of enterprise communications.
• Analyze available engagement data, feedback, and other measures to evaluate communication effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities to improve messaging, channels, formats, and delivery approaches based on audience response and performance data.
• Support organizational change by helping stakeholders understand what is changing, why it matters, and what actions are expected.
• Build communications capabilities through cross-functional collaboration, exposure to senior leaders, coaching, and stretch assignments.
• Take on increasing strategic ownership as communication expertise and enterprise knowledge develop.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or another relevant field.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in internal, corporate, employee, change, or enterprise communications.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, accurately, and with the appropriate tone.
• Strong project and workflow management skills, including the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, deadlines, reviews, and deliverables simultaneously.
• Demonstrated experience developing communications across multiple channels and formats rather than relying primarily on email.
• Experience supporting organizational change, transformation, technology implementations, or complex business initiatives is preferred.
• Experience communicating with external stakeholder audiences, such as healthcare organizations, government or advocacy groups, industry audiences, prospective talent, or business partners, is preferred.
• Ability to translate complex business information into understandable, engaging, and actionable communications for varied audiences.
• Strong interpersonal judgment, empathy, active listening, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable partnering with leaders at multiple levels and navigating diverse stakeholder needs.
• Curiosity about emerging technologies and willingness to use artificial intelligence and automation to improve communication effectiveness and team capacity.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a small, agile team and manage changing priorities.
• Interest in developing toward broader strategic communications leadership responsibilities.
• Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
• Must maintain any professional license, certification, or registration applicable to the position in good standing.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including extended periods of computer and office-based work, regular communication by phone and in person, and occasional lifting or moving of items up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to work remotely while operating standard office technology and, when required, travel by automobile.

• Base salary of $100,000–$130,000.
