ServiceNow Developer

job summary:
Our West Michigan Client is looking for a software engineer to develop and stand up out of the box and near out of the box solutions in their ServiceNow environment. Candidates should have experience with REST APIs, building solutions in ServiceNow, and be comfortable with doing basic "run" activities with both ServiceNow. Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript preferred.

responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a team of fellow developers to implement API integrations
• Fix bugs based on priority defined by your team lead
• Maintain updates on your active user stories within ServiceNow
• Build and update flows and modules in ServiceNow
• Attend daily stand up with your team
• Collaborate with our Architect to create solutions to address our challenges
• Be available on call at times for occasional issues that may arise in our systems
• Successful candidates will have 4+ years experience with development in ServiceNow. This position is remote, but candidates able to commute into Grand Rapids on occasion are preferred.

qualifications:
Strategic Portfolio Management/Strategic Planning Workspace (Experience mandatory), Legal Service Delivery (Strong preference), IRM/GRC, and work will happen adjacent to the CMDB.

API development

Experience with ServiceNow scripting languages such as JavaScript REST API oAuth
