Job Title : Aerospace Software Verification Engineer



Location: Rockford, IL



Salary Range: $85k to $110k/Annum

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Software Verification Engineer to develop, execute, and document software verification tests for avionics and aircraft systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in software testing, requirements-based verification, test case development, code coverage, and DO-178B/C compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze software requirements and develop comprehensive verification test cases.
• Execute tests on target hardware/software platforms and document results.
• Identify, report, and track software defects through resolution.
• Perform code coverage analysis in accordance with DO-178B/C standards.
• Prepare software verification reports and compliance documentation.
• Maintain traceability between requirements, design, test cases, and results.
• Collaborate with System and Software Engineering teams.
