The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills:What You Will Do:Work with a cross functional team to provide support to production shop floorInvestigate, incorporate and close out changes to manufacturing proceduresRespond to floor requests and provide support (Andon System response)Complete updates to job instruction sheetsWith minimal direction use customer tools to route products through shop floor from assembly to shipmentAssist in the documentation of standard practicesExperience with GD&T a plusWhat You Will Bring:Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline with up to 1 year internship or co-op experience preferred.Associate degree in engineering discipline with 3-5 years manufacturing experience or in lieu of a degree 6-8 years of manufacturing engineering experienceStrong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment but can also be self-directed requiredDue the nature of the work, you must be a US CitizenSalary: $28.00 to $33.00 per hour depending on experienceCompensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.Work Requirements:This role is considered 100% on-site position in Rockford, ILL. You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
