RN - PCU

PCU/MedSurg/Tele Nurse - Night Shift

Location: Newport, Vermont

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift, 7 PM to 7 AM, including every other weekend rotation.

Job Description: Join our team as a PCU/MedSurg/Tele nurse. This position requires the ability to work independently and perform charge nurse duties. The role also includes floating to other units, such as the Emergency Department (ED) and Medical/Surgical (MCH) units, as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in a PCU/MedSurg/Tele Unit.
• Oversee patient care activities and manage patient assignments.
• Participate in patient education and advocacy.
• Float to other departments as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid RN license.
• Experience in nursing, particularly in PCU/MedSurg/Tele.
• Charge nurse experience preferred.
