Day-in-the-Life: CNC Laser Setup Technician (2nd Shift) — Indianapolis, IN

Step onto our 2nd shift floor in Indianapolis and take the lead on precision. You’ll ready advanced laser cutting and engraving equipment, verify settings against job specs, and keep production humming with accuracy and care. If technology, detail, and problem-solving energize you, this role puts those strengths to work.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare, configure, and calibrate laser machinery to meet exacting job specifications.
• Oversee live operations, adjusting parameters to maintain top performance and consistent product quality.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Review blueprints, drawings, and job orders to confirm requirements and tolerances.
• Record production metrics and machine settings with precision and completeness.
• Partner with teammates to refine workflows and elevate throughput and quality.
• Uphold safety procedures and keep a clean, orderly work area.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in laser operations is a plus.
• Hands-on experience operating laser equipment or similar manufacturing machinery.
• Mechanical aptitude with a knack for diagnosing and solving problems.
• Ability to interpret technical documents, blueprints, and drawings.
• Knowledge of laser safety standards and best practices.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a strong quality mindset.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Schedule & Location

This role is on 2nd shift at our Indianapolis, IN facility. You’ll join a supportive, fast-moving team focused on producing high-quality products.
