Travel RN Telemetry job at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA: Medicine Unit 2 (6K) specializes in caring for adult surgical patients, including those recovering from bariatric, urology, general, ENT, plastic, GYN surgeries, and trauma overflow. This unit is also a Living Kidney Donor Transplant Unit. You must have at least 18 months of Telemetry RN experience within the last 3 years. Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6-7. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, epidurals, PCA pumps, wound vacs, feeding tubes, vascular devices, and dialysis fistula care is required. The unit treats patients with diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), congestive heart failure (CHF), kidney disease, and oncology surgery needs. Registered Nurse, Telemetry Experience: 2 years Certifications: BLS-AHA
