VMD Corp has an immediate need for Full and Part-Time Airport Employee Screeners with an active Security Guard Card. What you will do: Grow in a fulfilling career as a Airport Employee Screener working alongside a team of aviation security professionals. You will use your outstanding customer service and critical-thinking skills while identifying and preventing unsafe objects from exiting the airport. Responsibilities specific to this role include, but are not limited to: Conduct thorough and efficient screening of airport employees entering restricted areas. Verify the identity and credentials of employees using established procedures. Operate screening equipment, such as metal detectors to detect prohibited items. Enforce security regulations and policies in a professional and courteous manner. Monitor employee behavior and report any suspicious activities or violations. Collaborate with airport authorities and law enforcement to address security concerns or incidents. Provide clear and concise instructions to employees regarding the screening process. Conduct property searches as part of the overall security strategy. Respond promptly to alarms or alerts generated by screening equipment. Maintain accurate records of screening activities and incidents. What you will need: Be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National Have an active Security Guard Card Hold a valid driver\'s license issued by the State of Missouri Ability to work any shift including weekends and holidays (flexibility is key) Ability to pass SIDA Badge background check Ability to interact professionally with the public with a focus on customer service Proven experience in security, screening, or a related field is preferred Excellent observational and problem-solving skills The ability to communicate interaction with diverse individuals Ability to work in a dynamic environment and handle high-stress situations calmly Attention to detail and commitment to following established security protocols What we offer: Competitive Compensation Paid training No prior experience is necessary.
