Help Secure Funding That Advances Healthcare, Education, and ResearchWe are seeking a highly organized and collaborative Grants Coordinator to join the Office of Academic Affairs (OAA). In this role, you will help support the grant lifecycle from opportunity identification and application coordination through award management and reporting.Working closely with the Office of Academic Affairs, Deaconess Foundation, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Research, and organizational leaders, you will play an important role in helping Deaconess pursue funding opportunities that support patient care, workforce development, education, research, and community health initiatives.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys project coordination, relationship management, organization, and helping bring meaningful programs and initiatives to life through external funding opportunities.What You'll DoServe as a central point of contact for grant opportunities submitted by departments, leaders, and affiliates across the health systemCoordinate the review and tracking of grant opportunities through the Grant Selection Committee processMonitor funding announcements, eligibility requirements, deadlines, and reporting obligationsAssist departments in gathering information needed to evaluate and pursue grant opportunitiesCoordinate Grant Selection Committee meetings, agendas, minutes, documentation, and follow-up activitiesSupport grant application development by gathering required forms, supporting documentation, budgets, and submission materialsCoordinate internal review processes involving Finance, Legal, Compliance, Human Resources, Information Services, Research, and other departmentsTrack grant timelines and deadlines to help ensure timely and complete submissionsAssist with post-award coordination, reporting activities, and grant closeout processesMaintain grant records, agreements, correspondence, budgets, reports, amendments, and documentationSupport compliance with grant requirements, institutional policies, and applicable regulatory standardsCoordinate communication among internal stakeholders, grant funders, academic partners, and external organizationsRespond to grant-related inquiries and provide support throughout the grant lifecycleCompile and analyze grants data, including proposal activity, funding outcomes, and reporting metricsCreate spreadsheets, dashboards, reports, presentations, and executive summaries for leadershipParticipate in process improvement initiatives that strengthen grant administration and operational effectivenessWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience requiredCoursework in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field preferredBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field preferredMinimum of two years of experience in administration, project coordination, program support, grants administration, healthcare operations, or a related fieldStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and competing prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholdersAbility to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalismExperience developing reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and tracking toolsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPointAbility to learn and effectively utilize grant management systems, document management systems, and emerging technologiesPreferred:Experience supporting grant administration, pre-award or post-award activitiesExperience working in healthcare, higher education, nonprofit, research administration, or academic environmentsExperience coordinating committees, managing compliance documentation, or tracking complex deadlinesFamiliarity with federal,
