Reservationist

The Nines locate in NOHO , is a dynamic supper club, cocktail and piano bar from Golden Age Hospitality, the team who brought you Le Dive, ACME, Happiest Hour and Deux Chats.

We are currently seeking an experienced Reservationist to join the team. The schedule for this position is 3/4 days a week with flexible days and Sunday availability. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Efficiently and accurately handle reservations, cancellations, and a variety of inquiries received from guests, and redirect these inquiries to Management as needed.
• Maximize bookings by delivering a warm & friendly, yet efficient reservations service.
• Develop strong knowledge of food and beverage items.
• Deliver exceptional service consistently and anticipate guest needs.
• Maintain guest relationships to promote repeat business.
• Create and maintain a database with local concierges.
• Utilize Resy to the best of its capacities.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

• 2+ years of host or reservations experience in a fine-dining restaurant preferred.
• Experience using OpenTable, Resy, or 7 shifts reservation platforms.
• Knowledge of dropbox, tripleseat and google suite is a plus.
• Confident and genuine nature, ability to comfortably engage in natural dialogue with guests.
• Ability to speak clearly and knowledgeable when providing information and answering questions for prospective guests, while focusing on etiquette and composure.
