Job Title: Intellectual Property Litigation Paralegal (7+ Years Experience) Location: Washington, DC Area (Hybrid) Salary Range: $95,000–$130,000 Consilio's ELS Direct Hire Staffing Division is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Litigation Paralegal to join a dynamic Practice Group. This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail‑oriented professional with significant litigation experience and a background in intellectual property matters. This position is based in the Washington, DC area with a hybrid work arrangement and occasional in‑office attendance as needed. Travel to trial locations may be required. Responsibilities Provide litigation and trial support throughout all phases of complex IP litigation matters. Create, organize, maintain, and manage litigation case files. Monitor litigation dockets, deadlines, and calendars using CompuLA. Prepare, proofread, cite‑check, and file motions, briefs, memoranda, exhibits, and appendices for District Courts, Appellate Courts, the Federal Circuit, and the ITC. Manage electronic filings through CM/ECF, NextGen, and USITC EDIS system. Conduct factual and legal research using tools such as LexisNexis, Westlaw, PACER, Docket Navigator, EDIS, and USPTO database. Support discovery efforts, including document review and production using Relativity, IPRO, and other litigation support platforms. Coordinate and manage fact and expert discovery processes. Prepare materials for depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and trial. Attend court and agency proceedings and provide on‑site support to attorney. Mentor junior paralegals and support special projects as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred; Paralegal Certificate preferred but not required. Minimum 7 years of litigation paralegal experience. Experience supporting IP litigation matters in District Court, Federal Circuit, and/or ITC proceedings. Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, e‑discovery, and document management processes. Working knowledge of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure.
