Information Technology Business Analyst

The IT Business Analyst will be responsible for working with key users to develop reports and analytics. This position will represent the company while having a strong desire to know how and why things work, and an inclination toward sustainable and manageable IT solutions. The role will play an integral role in understanding business data, concepts, and metrics. In addition, this role has responsibility to provide ERP support to end users as well as supporting IT management in large-scale ERP projects. Responsibilities Creating new/maintaining existing reports using BI tools Utilizing SQL and/or SAP Hana for ad-hoc data requests Supporting end users with day-to-day ERP operations Customizing the ERP system based on defined requirements Testing report and ERP application modifications Documenting Standard Operation Procedures Performing system training to end-users, support for users, and help to develop and deploy user documentation/reports. Collaborate with colleagues to develop processes and solutions that map to business requirements and enhancement/report requests. Identify business gaps and inconsistencies and develop action plans accordingly. Assist in performing any testing of systems upgrades and patches. Respond to user issues in a timely manner to support a face-paced manufacturing environment. Collaborate with IT team for trouble shooting and problem resolution as necessary Evaluate current business procedures and recommend improvements if needed. Maintain knowledge of other software platforms that can support current processes Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Experience in Microsoft SQL and/or SAP HANA database scripting Experience with ERP systems: SAP Business ONE (SAP Business One) is a plus Understanding of BI tools Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Strong analytical skills Have good verbal and written communication skills.
