Job Description
The Machine Operator in Manufacturing plays a crucial role in setting up and operating machinery to support efficient production processes. Working within a small team and reporting to the Production Supervisor, this position focuses on maintaining quality standards, ensuring safety compliance, and assisting with routine maintenance. The role requires attention to detail and physical stamina to handle various manufacturing tasks during a single shift schedule. On-the-job training is provided to support skill development and growth opportunities within the team.
Responsibilities
- Set up machines and equipment for production runs
- Operate machinery following established procedures
- Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
- Assist with routine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
- Monitor production processes and adjust operations as needed
- Handle materials and components efficiently
- Maintain accurate records and report production data
- Manage inventory related to machine operation
- Collaborate effectively with team members
Required Qualifications
