Registered Nurse Perioperative Specialty Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Perioperative Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) - Critical Need Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: 10 Hours Hours per Shift: 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM Experience: - 1 year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience - Minimum two years of critical care experience with adult patients, preferably in the PACU environment - Minimum two years of clinical care experience with pediatrics, preferably in ER, ICU, or PACU environment - Minimum two years of experience providing procedural sedation in an outpatient setting - Minimum two years of experience in pain management injection procedures License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications: - Basic Life Support - Advanced Cardiac Life Support - Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support Must-Have: - ACLS Description: Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required. Preferred bachelor's degree in nursing or related field. Procedural sedation competency is preferred. Candidates should possess strong critical thinking and assessment skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is important. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care is required.
