Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

This is a 13-week contract position.

California

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

The Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery will be responsible for providing care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Nurses will float to postpartum as needed and will be involved in fetal heart monitoring, high-risk pregnancy monitoring, C-sections, and vaginal deliveries. Experience in couplet care (caring for both newborn and maternal patients) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor fetal heartbeats and high-risk pregnancies.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and circulate for C-sections.
• Provide postpartum couplet care when necessary.
• Transport patients as needed between units.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2 years of relevant nursing experience in Labor and Delivery required.
• Certifications: AWHONN Advanced, ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM (NCC EFM acceptable in lieu of AWHONN).
• Must hold a valid California RN license.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
