Front Desk Associate for Orthopaedic Clinic and Physical Therapy Department

Responsibilities Greets patients and assists patients in a prompt, courteous and professional manner. Responsible for having patients complete appropriate paperwork; demographics, arbitration, financial agreement, new patient paperwork, follow-up forms. Explains financial requirements to patients or responsible parties and collects and enters copays and patient balances as required. Completes check‑in and check‑out processes with patients for their appointments. Ensures all necessary paperwork and charges from the visit are entered correctly, including proper coding of services rendered. Maintains HIPAA compliance. Prepares paperwork, documents, and chart checks for the next business day. Requires travel between different locations. Other duties as assigned.
