Systems Administrator

Position Title: Junior AVEVA PI Administrator Location: New York, NY (On-Site) Pay Rate: $53/hr Position Description: Join a dynamic team as a Junior AVEVA PI Administrator supporting critical Electric and Gas Control Center operations. This role involves maintaining and enhancing large-scale PI Data Historian infrastructure, ensuring high availability and seamless integration with enterprise systems. You will design, develop, and support PI solutions—including dashboards, analytics, and interfaces—while proactively troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues in a 24/7 operational environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in industrial data management, system architecture, and enterprise analytics within a collaborative and fast-paced setting. In this hybrid role, you will work onsite in New York, NY three days a week (Tuesday-Thursday) and remotely two days (Monday and Friday). Key responsibilities include managing enterprise PI system components (PI Data Archive, PI AF, PI Vision), implementing high-availability and disaster recovery solutions, developing bespoke applications and dashboards using AVEVA/OSIsoft tools, and supporting enterprise-wide data integration. You will respond to system alerts around the clock, perform system enhancements, and ensure compliance with industry best practices, including ITIL processes. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, quick learners, capable of independently managing projects, and possess strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
