Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse Specialist in Neptune, New Jersey. This role involves applying nursing processes to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures within the operating room. The selected candidate will ensure accurate documentation, contribute to interdisciplinary treatment plans, administer clinical interventions, and assess patient responses. Additionally, responsibilities include assigning and evaluating work performed by non-nursing team members in the surgical environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week, with work hours from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
• Required Qualifications: ASN degree, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, BLS certification (AHA), and a minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree, ACLS (AHA), and PALS certifications.
• Additional Skills: Level I Trauma experience, scrub experience, proficiency in endovascular, spine, neuro, ortho, and ortho trauma procedures.
• Skills: Clinical knowledge, analytical abilities, nursing care plan formulation, professional nursing services, effective communication, scrub experience, ability to perform a variety of professional nursing services.
• Certifications/Licensure: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS, and licensure as specified.
• Schedule: The position requires working days, with on-call and holiday responsibilities as needed.
• Experience: No minimum experience required beyond the certification and educational qualifications listed.
