Job Overview:

Top-Flo Plumbing is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Residential Service Plumbing Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, replacing, and installing residential plumbing systems while delivering exceptional customer service. Our technicians are trusted advisors who help homeowners understand their plumbing concerns and provide professional solutions that improve the safety, reliability, and efficiency of their homes.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential plumbing systems and fixtures
• Service water heaters, faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, water lines, drain systems, and sewer systems
• Perform plumbing installations and replacements in accordance with local plumbing codes and company standards
• Inspect plumbing systems and identify potential issues before they become major problems
• Clearly communicate findings, repair options, and recommendations to homeowners
• Complete service tickets, estimates, invoices, and job documentation accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle
• Operate plumbing tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing Top-Flo Plumbing
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of residential service and repair plumbing experience
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
• Knowledge of residential plumbing systems, fixtures, and code requirements
• Ability to independently diagnose plumbing issues and recommend appropriate solutions
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to explain technical information in a clear and professional manner
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry plumbing tools, equipment, and materials
• Ability to work in crawl spaces, attics, utility rooms, and outdoor environments
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Preferred Experience

• Water heater repair and replacement
• Drain cleaning and sewer line diagnostics
• Sewer camera inspections
• Water filtration and treatment systems
• Pressure reducing valves (PRVs)
• Residential plumbing remodels and repipes
• Warranty company experience is a plus!
