Corporate Attorney (Counsel / Junior Partner Level)A well-established, multi-office law firm is seeking an experienced corporate attorney at the Counsel or junior partner level to join its growing corporate practice in the Mid-Atlantic region.This role is ideal for an attorney who can independently manage a wide range of corporate matters while serving as a trusted advisor to business clients. The position involves a mix of outside general counsel work, transactional matters, and ongoing client advisory responsibilities.Open to candidates in the Baltimore and Central Maryland Region.ResponsibilitiesServe as outside counsel to privately held companies and business owners on day-to-day legal mattersManage corporate transactions from initial structuring through closingDraft and negotiate a variety of agreements, including commercial contracts and transaction documentsAdvise clients on corporate governance, entity structuring, and operational legal issuesCollaborate with attorneys across practice groups to support client needsMaintain and develop client relationships, with opportunities to expand an existing practiceQualificationsApproximately 7–12+ years of corporate legal experienceExperience handling both transactional work and ongoing corporate advisory mattersAbility to independently manage client matters and provide practical legal guidanceStrong drafting, negotiation, and communication skillsDemonstrated interest in client development and practice growthThe Firm OffersA collaborative, entrepreneurial platform with a strong multi-office presenceOpportunities to work across offices and practice groupsBusiness development support, including coaching and internal resourcesCompetitive compensation structure aligned with productivity and growthInfrastructure that supports both client service and long-term practice development
