This role supports both new and existing aerospace components and assemblies, ensuring production processes are efficient, compliant, and well-documented while meeting the highest quality and customer standards.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute engineering projects supporting the manufacture of new and existing aerospace parts and assembliesDevelop, document, and continuously improve production processes, techniques, and process plansCreate, maintain, and update detailed engineering work instructions, including:Manufacturing and quality specificationsEngineering changes and revisionsProcess controls and tooling definitions/requirementsAnalyze manufacturing drawings and specifications to ensure producibility and complianceApply and interpret GD&T standards in support of manufacturing and inspection activitiesCollaborate cross-functionally with design engineering, quality, operations, suppliers, and customersInterface directly with customers and vendors, maintaining a high level of responsiveness and customer satisfactionSupport root cause analysis and corrective actions related to manufacturing issuesRequired Knowledge & SkillsStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, including:WeldingStampingCastingSheet metal fabricationMachiningProficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T per ASME standardsExperience developing work instructions, process documentation, and manufacturing routingsStrong communication skills with the ability to work across internal teams and external partnersDetail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality, repeatability, and continuous improvementPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fieldAerospace or other high-reliability manufacturing experienceFamiliarity with regulated environments and quality systemsSkills RequiredMicrosoft Packages, Technical Drawings, CommunicationLocationMiddletown, Connecticut, United States of AmericaDesirable SkillsMicrosoft Packages, Technical Drawings, CommunicationDesignationAssociate
