Location: Santee, CA 92071
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | 100% Onsite | M-F 7:30am-4pm
Assignment Type: Contract (1-Year Assignment)
Position Overview
A leading national distribution organization is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join its corporate operations team in Santee, CA. This is a customer service-focused administrative role supporting accounts receivable processes through accurate data entry, document management, and invoice processing. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains a high level of accuracy, and can consistently meet productivity goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Scan and upload customer invoices into the company database while ensuring accurate client record matching.
- Perform high-volume data entry with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Review documents for completeness and identify discrepancies prior to processing.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards within designated timeframes.
- Maintain organized electronic records and support accounts receivable documentation processes.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate customer account information.
- Follow company procedures for data integrity, confidentiality, and record retention.
- Remain focused and productive in a repetitive, process-driven work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous clerical, administrative, accounts receivable, or data entry experience required.
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience navigating databases and business software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and commitment to quality work.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit and work at a computer workstation for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive keyboarding and data entry tasks throughout the day.
- Must be able to remain focused while processing high volumes of information and meeting productivity goals.
