Physician - Gastroenterology - Advanced [EUS/ERCP]

Our client in Georgia is seeking an experienced Physician specializing in Gastroenterology - Advanced [EUS/ERCP] for a 40-day assignment beginning Sep 5, 2026. This role involves daytime inpatient coverage from 7:30 am to 4:00/4:30 pm, including rounding, handling inpatient consults, performing ERCPs, and managing night call via phone only. The physician will work alongside experienced APPs and typically handle up to 6‑7 procedures on busy days. Responsibilities and Duties Provide daytime inpatient coverage with night call. Round on patients, handle inpatient consults, and perform ERCPs. Perform up to 6‑7 procedures per day on the busiest of days. Collaborate with experienced APPs who assist with consults when the physician is in the OR. Manage night call, primarily fielding phone calls with no actual callback required.
