Impact-Driven Vocational Case Manager for Day Programs

Abundant Life Community Development Corporation Inc has open positions in its day habilitation and pre‑vocational program. Day Program Vocational Case Manager (VCM) Coordinates and implements the vocational supervision for individuals with intellectual disabilities, liaising with DDDS, case managers, families and allied professionals. Responsibilities Coordinate individual vocational training program while maximizing cost. Conduct vocational assessment interviews and tests in conjunction with DDDS day habilitation, pre‑vocational and Supported Employment goals. Coordinate and research participation and monitor individual’s success while they are in the program. Provide job search skills training to clients. After placement, follow up by visiting the worksite, evaluating activities and assessing performance. Develop knowledge of current job market to identify alternative placements. Prepare detailed evaluation reports and case notes documenting each phase of activity. Maintain necessary credentials and demonstrate required level of professionalism. Coordinate case management. Qualifications B.S., B.A. in vocational evaluation, special education, behavioral psychology, or related field required; master’s level and/or advanced study strongly preferred. Valid driver’s license required. Excellent interpersonal skills, phone manners and organizational skills. Ability to set priorities and work independently is essential. Computer literacy required. Ability to follow rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Perform and manage health records. Complete assigned work effectively and efficiently. Computer proficient. CPR and First Aid certification. Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations. Mandt training. Establish and maintain files, records, reports and referrals. Work cooperatively with others. Understand and follow oral and written directions in English. Meet schedules and timelines. Plan, organize work and manage time. Maintain records and assist in preparing reports. Direct Support Specialist Responsible to work with individuals with intellectual disabilities in a day program setting, implementing daily activities based on program guidelines and completing daily ISP documentation, T‑logs and General Event Report (GER). Responsibilities Facilitate daily activities and support individuals as per program guidelines. Complete daily ISP documentation, T‑logs and GER. Collaborate with team members to maximize potentials of all individuals supported. Provide support with communication and training completion requirements. Qualifications Ability to follow rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Perform and manage health records. Complete assigned work effectively and efficiently. Computer proficient. CPR and First Aid certification. Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations. Establish and maintain files, records, reports and referrals. Work cooperatively with others. Work confidentially and with discretion. A valid driver’s license and good driving record required. Administration & Finance Coordinator Primarily responsible for financial/HR administrative duties such as billing, recruitment, admission, and other office duties as assigned. Responsibilities Finance and HR responsibilities: meet new hires to complete HR paperwork, process background checks, set up direct deposit, benefit enrollment, mandatory reporter training, maintain personnel files, update agency applications and handbooks, update job descriptions, bookkeeping/financials, assist with budget projections and tracking income & expenses, prepare monthly financial documents, complete year‑end documents and reporting, process payroll, manage taxes and program invoicing. Program Administration: assist with attendance, reporting, assessment, surveys, evaluation, registration, program materials, communications, guides & handbooks, compile & maintain data, maintain customer/individual databases, communicate regularly with parents to obtain and update information. Event Planning & Coordination: assist with communication with outside vendors, coordinate services, maintain participant lists. Team work: ready to work with the Board of Directors and allied staff. Qualifications Excellent customer service, written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Experience in billing, payroll, budgeting, HR, grants, bookkeeping, and general office work. Associate’s degree or higher in finance, human resources or related field preferred. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, nonprofit accounting & fundraising, QuickBooks, Therap billing, social and human services preferred.
