Crane Operator / CDL Driver Company: Star Roofing Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly Compensation: $70k to $80k annual, depending on experience. 40 hour work weeks. Position Summary The Crane Operator / CDL Driver is responsible for safely operating company equipment and vehicles while supporting material delivery and jobsite logistics. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Crane Operations Safely operate company crane equipment in accordance with all OSHA, DOT, and company safety regulations.Perform rooftop material lifts and jobsite crane operations.Conduct daily equipment inspections and complete required documentation.Coordinate with roofing crews, project managers, and site personnel.Maintain all required certifications and operating credentials. Roll-Off Truck Operations Deliver and pick up dumpsters at residential, commercial, and construction sites.Safely load, transport, and unload containers.Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.Complete driver logs, inspection reports, and related paperwork.Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. Delivery Driver Support Deliver roofing materials, equipment, and supplies to jobsites and company facilities.Assist with loading, securing, and unloading materials.Verify delivery accuracy and maintain delivery documentation.Provide professional customer service at jobsites and customer locations. Required Qualifications Current CCO Certification.Valid CDL with acceptable driving record.Experience operating cranes in construction or roofing environments.Ability to safely operate roll-off trucks and commercial vehicles.Strong commitment to safety and compliance.Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented. Preferred Qualifications Roofing industry experience.Experience with rooftop material delivery and construction site logistics.Forklift experience. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.Ability to climb ladders and access construction sites as needed.
