Role Highlights

• Conduct thorough evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric clients using both standardized measures and observational methods.
• Create individualized treatment strategies addressing both immediate objectives and long-term goals related to communication, cognition, or swallowing.
• Implement targeted speech therapy services aimed at enhancing clarity, fluency, and overall communication abilities.
• Engage in collaborative care with physical therapists, occupational therapists, physicians, nurses, and family members to develop a unified approach to patient care.
• Support patients and families with educational resources to bolster progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Occasionally assist with inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure a seamless continuum of care throughout the therapeutic process.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation that complies with all state, federal, and institutional requirements.
• Stay ahead in your field by actively pursuing professional development and networking with peers.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Licensure & Certification

• Current state licensure as a Speech Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be secured within 30 days of hire.
