Merck seeks an Operations Technician to support animal health antigen production at its De Soto, Kansas facility. The role involves executing routine production activities, sampling, documentation, and process work while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute routine production activities and assist with process work completion
• Perform sampling and maintain accurate documentation using Good Documentation Practices
• Ensure antigen product specifications meet compliance requirements prior to release
• Support manufacturing operations across raw materials through final product stages
• Uphold safety compliance and report incidents, hazards, and defects appropriately

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices in pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Demonstrated attention to detail and error-free documentation practices
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures and regulatory policies
• Basic laboratory procedure skills and time management capabilities
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Compensation: $48,600 - $76,600
