In collaboration with the healthcare team, you will develop and execute comprehensive care plans that ensure optimal patient outcomes./ppKey Responsibilities:/pulliCoordinate the delivery of care for high-acuity patients across the service line, utilizing advanced clinical knowledge and assessment skills./liliServe as the clinical expert and strong leader within the unit, actively participating in management and system leadership activities to enhance service delivery./liliScrub and/or circulate in General surgeries, demonstrating expertise and ensuring patient safety./liliDevelop a core curriculum for the service line in conjunction with the clinical educator and system education teams, overseeing new staff orientation and ongoing education for all team members./liliEvaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and ensure they meet the needs of the service line./liliAct as a role model and resource for staff, embodying the mission and vision of Indiana University Health in all aspects of patient care and unit operations./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliRequires an Associates of Nursing (ASN)./liliBachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred./liliRequires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license./liliRequires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program./liliRequires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA./liliOther advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies./lili3+ years of OR (Operating Room) experience is strongly preferred./li/ulpWe are an equal opportunity employer.
