Good Shepherd Communities is looking for a personable Billing Manager to join our community is providing accurate and accessible billing information to our residents and their families.

Position Details

Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm

Position Range

$65,000 - $75,000

Position Summary

The Billing Manager is responsible for maintaining accounts receivable, billing, and cash receipts including collections. As the Billing Manager you will oversee all billing accounting functions of the facility in accordance with current generally accepted accounting principles and cost reimbursement principles relating to long-term care including billing, and accounts receivable.

Takes the lead on billing and follow-up of all Medicare, Medicaid, private pay, co-insurance, and managed care billing for the facility. Primarily responsible for cash collections and A/R goals of the facility. The Billing Manager is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current prevailing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.

Position Qualifications/Requirements

Education: BA Degree or equivalent work experience

Qualifications: Knowledge of the Medicaid Application process

Demonstrated knowledge of third-party payer systems and related rules and regulations required.

Comprehensive working knowledge of word processing, database, and spreadsheet software required.

Demonstrated knowledge of automated billing systems required.

Must be 18 years of age. Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
