Field Service Technician

Join our team as a Field Service Technician, where you will be responsible for setting up units, including anchoring, leveling, and installing VAPS, steps, canopies, and ramps. You will also handle the installation and removal of skirting, and perform essential duties for the knock-down of buildings. Your role will involve service work on customer units, including electrical and plumbing tasks, and completing work and service orders using the Field Service Application.

Responsibilities

• Set up units, including anchoring, blocking, leveling, and installing interior and exterior components.
• Install and remove skirting as required.
• Perform duties essential to the knock-down of buildings, including shipping wall construction, utility disconnection, and site cleanup.
• Conduct service work for customer units, including electrical and plumbing tasks.
• Perform customer modifications.
• Complete work orders and service orders via the Field Service Application.
• Maintain proper working condition of all tools and equipment.
• Form and maintain good relationships with external and internal customers.

Essential Skills

• High School diploma or GED.
• Carpentry skills and familiarity with construction trades.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Current valid license and good driving record.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Set-up and knockdown experience preferred.
• Experience with customer relationship management preferred.
• Previous management experience or experience working with other trades is a plus.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Good communication skills for interactions with customers, sales personnel, contractors, and coworkers.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sparks, NV.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $37.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
