Area Sales Manager, New York City

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to be based in New York City , working as part of our North American Sales Team across the Americas. In this role, we seek a proactive self-starter with great communication and collaboration skills to become part of our NYC territory, joining our East US sales team to grow the market while collaborating within the broader North American sales team. As an Area Sales Manager, you will have the autonomy to manage and execute sales strategies that contribute to our territory goals while representing Framery within the local market. Success in this role comes from building and nurturing strong relationships with our Dealer Partners, the A&D community, End Users, Commercial Real Estate teams, and Government Entities. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across North America and refine our dealer network, helping them grow and strengthen their Framery business. Globally, Framery is a team of roughly 500 professionals across 20 countries and our sales team consists of approximately 60 professionals, with a strong, collaborative presence of team members based across North America. Overall, our broader continental organization includes a dedicated network of experts in sales, support, logistics, and technician roles, with our local NYC showroom serving as a hub for client meetings and events. We are looking for: Sales and new business development experience in the local office furniture market (Dealer, A&D, End User channels) or related sectors, such as smart office solutions, proptech, or SaaS. An established industry network and existing professional relationships within the designated territory. Entrepreneurial and self-motivated mindset, with the ability to manage projects and tasks independently. Team-oriented mindset, collaborating with internal and external partners to drive customer success. Ability to travel actively within the New York metropolitan territory and occasionally (1-4x/year) to Finland or other global locations for training and conferences. Base in the NYC metro area, with easy access to Manhattan to cover the territory efficiently. Why consider this role? Compensation: The compensation for this role features a base salary in the range of $95,000 to $120,000 USD annually, commensurate with experience. With an expected On-Target Earnings of approximately $140,000 to $160,000 USD yearly plus benefits, the role includes participation in an uncapped bonus program, with payouts assessed twice per year and tied to sales performance within the assigned region.
