Position Overview

Responsibilities Description

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, explaining each element thoughtfully and compassionately
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to generate high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment skillfully, while promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Thoroughly document procedures and manage patient records within our electronic medical system
• Stay updated on the latest advances in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
