The Group provides independent, objective financing advice across a broad range of situations, including buyouts, growth capital, platform formation, refinancings, restructurings, recapitalizations, project financing, public company financings, and IPOs.Across public and private transactions, the Group advises clients on preparation, positioning, valuation, investor messaging, and end-to-end execution of the financing process. Our independence and objectivity, coupled with direct and long-standing institutional buy-side relationships, inform our market views and strengthen the quality of our execution, leading to successful transactions for our clients.Representative product areas include:Debt products: ABL, public and private term loans / unitranche, DIP / exit financing, investment grade debt, high yield bonds, mezzanine debt, and other bespoke credit solutionsEquity and equity-linked products: IPOs, convertible debt, structured equity, preferred equity, PIPEs, corporate and portfolio company recapitalizations, follow-on and public company financings, and Board of Directors advisoryThe Group maintains direct dialogue with a wide range of institutional investors, including private equity sponsors, venture capital firms, hedge funds, alternative asset managers, bank and non-bank lenders, sovereign wealth and pension funds, family offices, and other capital providers, to ensure the appropriate capital pool can be accessed for our clients.Role Overview Vice Presidents are expected to assume significant levels of responsibility requiring intellectual curiosity, sound judgment, leadership, analytical rigor, and strong communication skills. The day-to-day responsibilities of a Vice President include performing financial analysis and modeling, developing and evaluating financing structures, preparing client and investor presentations, managing Associates & Analysts, and coordinating across clients, senior bankers, investors, lenders, and other transaction counterparties to help execute transactions from mandate through closing.Key ResponsibilitiesCapital structure analysis and structuring: Build and maintain models to assess debt capacity, leverage, liquidity, and downside scenarios; develop and evaluate financing alternatives across debt and equity products, including bespoke and structured solutionsMarket insight and client advice: Monitor debt and equity market conditions, investor sentiment, and comparable transactionsTransaction execution and materials: Prepare investor and lender materials, manage marketing processes, coordinate with investors, oversee data rooms and Q&A, draft and maintain process timelines, trackers, and term sheetsDeal coordination: Serve as a key point of contact across clients, investors / lenders, senior bankers, legal counsel and other parties; manage timelines and deliverables through closingTeam leadership: Direct and review Analyst work, ensuring high-quality output while interacting regularly with senior bankers, clients, and external stakeholdersQualificationsStrong analytical, financial modeling, valuation, credit, and presentation skills; ability to assess businesses, capital structures, and financing alternativesAdvanced knowledge of accounting, corporate finance, and capital markets, including leverage, credit metrics, debt instruments, covenants, and equity/IPO mechanics4+ years of relevant experience in investment banking (capital markets, leveraged finance, debt or equity capital markets, corporate finance, or M&A) or an equivalent buy-side/credit roleFamiliarity with institutional investors and lenders, including private equity, credit funds, hedge funds, banks, and alternative asset managersAbility to produce accurate, high-quality work under tight deadlines and in high-pressure environmentsStrong judgment, intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact effectively with internal teams, clients, investors, and other external partiesTeam-oriented with the ability to manage multiple transactions and priorities simultaneouslyExceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills; strong ability to analyze financial statements and market data; familiarity with market data and research tools such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, Dealogic, or similar platformsUndergraduate degree required; finance, business, accounting, economics, mathematics, engineering, or related field preferredExpected Salary: $250,000We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
