Territory Sales Representative – Laboratory Instrumentation Location: U.S. (Midwest Preferred – MO, KS, IL, WI, Northern AR) Travel: ~60% (8–10 overnights/month) Overview A growing provider of laboratory and process analysis equipment is seeking a driven Territory Sales Representative to expand business across the U.S. and Canada. This is a true hunter role focused on building pipeline, winning new business, and developing key accounts in food, agriculture, and manufacturing environments. What You’ll Do Prospect and win new business across laboratory and production accounts Target industries such as grain, pet food, and food manufacturing Engage lab, quality, and operations stakeholders Conduct outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and in-person meetings Attend trade shows and industry events Deliver product demos and communicate technical value Manage pipeline and activity through CRM Consistently hit revenue targets What We’re Looking For 3+ years of B2B sales experience Experience selling capital equipment, instrumentation, or technical solutions Proven success in new business development Experience calling on labs, manufacturing, or technical buyers Comfortable with heavy prospecting and travel Nice to Have: Background in food, agriculture, or related industries Experience with analytical/scientific equipment Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or similar Compensation Base: ~$70K–$90K OTE: ~$120K–$130K Additional Details Annual quota: ~$1.4M High travel role with strong autonomy Ideal for someone competitive, self-motivated, and comfortable selling higher-ticket solutions Who is Rainier Recruiting Rainier Recruiting is a boutique, award winning national staffing agency and executive search firm.
