Line Cooks at The Slice Pizza help deliver the high‑quality food our guests expect by preparing menu items with accuracy, consistency, and pride. This role thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑volume kitchen and plays a key part in keeping service running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and standards
• Maintain proper portioning, presentation, and food quality at all times
• Set up, stock, and maintain a clean, organized station throughout the shift
• Assist with daily prep work, including chopping, portioning, and labeling ingredients
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and temperature‑control procedures
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and front‑of‑house teams to ensure smooth service
• Support opening, closing, and side‑work duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
• Strong knife skills and understanding of basic cooking techniques
• Ability to work quickly, cleanly, and consistently in a high‑volume environment
• Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
