ServiceNow Platform Engineer (ITSM/ITOM)

Requirements

• 7 or more years of ServiceNow platform experience, including hands-on configuration, implementation, and platform support.

• Proficiency in ServiceNow ITSM, including incident, problem, change, request, service catalog, knowledge, and service level management.

• Experience with Configuration Management Database and Common Service Data Model, including CI relationships, service modeling, and data governance.

• Experience with ServiceNow ITOM, including Discovery, Service Mapping, MID Servers, and infrastructure operational visibility.

• Experience supporting ServiceNow integrations via Integration Hub, APIs, middleware, and monitoring tools within data center or infrastructure-heavy environments.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and enhance ServiceNow capabilities across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and related operational modules.

• Configure workflows for incident, major incident, problem, change, request, service catalog, and knowledge management.

• Support CMDB and Common Service Data Model implementation, including CI class structure, ownership, and data quality controls.

• Build and maintain dashboards, operational reports, and KPIs for incident trends, change performance, and CMDB/Discovery health.

• Support integrations between ServiceNow and external monitoring, asset, identity, and security systems.

• Improve data center operational workflows, including asset lifecycle, change coordination, and service-impact visibility, while documenting configuration decisions and supporting testing/deployment.
