Location: Hayward, CA
Compensation: $44–$49 per hour
Schedule: 35 hours per week | Monday–Friday
Weekend Rotation: None
Facility Size: 99 beds

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our team in Hayward, CA. Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist

• Assist patients in improving their ability to perform activities of daily living and functional tasks

• Implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals

• Monitor patient progress and communicate observations to the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team

• Document treatments, patient responses, and progress accurately and timely

• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies

• Promote patient safety, independence, mobility, and quality of life

• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care

• Maintain compliance with facility policies, professional standards, and applicable regulations

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

• Current California OTA license or eligibility for licensure

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Both experienced clinicians and new graduates are welcome to apply
