Location: Vadnais Heights, MN

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections on pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients

• Collect, process, and prepare clinical and forensic specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures

• Verify patient demographic information and obtain required patient documentation and signatures

• Ensure accurate specimen labeling and maintain compliance with established protocols

• Maintain required records and documentation with a high level of accuracy

• Provide exceptional customer service while creating a professional and welcoming environment for patients

• Travel to multiple patient service centers and physician office locations as needed

• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment

• Perform daily responsibilities accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections

• Two years of Patient Service Center experience preferred

• Medical assistant, paramedic, or other medical training preferred

• Phlebotomy certification preferred

• Strong specimen collection, processing, and documentation skills

• Excellent customer service and patient communication skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

• Flexibility to travel between locations and adapt to changing staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call assignments, and overtime as needed

• Keyboard and data entry proficiency

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment

• Ability to meet compliance requirements, including required MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and TB testing; COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations strongly recommended
