LAB Technician II

Our client, a leader in nonwovens manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented LAB Technician II to join their team. As a LAB Technician II, you will be an essential part of the production support team, contributing to the development and characterization of innovative nonwoven materials. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a collaborative spirit, all of which will help you thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Job Title: LAB Technician II Location: Maplewood, MN Pay Range: 22-24/hr What's the Job? Configure, operate, and maintain pilot-scale process equipment focused on nonwoven production Measure and analyze the properties of nonwoven materials produced on the line Maintain detailed records and communicate technical results effectively Develop and follow standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment, including material handling tasks What's Needed? Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Experience with roll-to-roll web processing, fiber processing, or compounding is highly desirable Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a safety-conscious environment Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Willingness to follow safety protocols, including wearing steel-toe shoes, hearing protection, and respiratory protection as needed What's in it for me?
