Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you’ll collaborate closely with an OTR supervisor and school teams to deliver impactful, student-centered care.

This assignment runs from August 4th, 2026, through May 27th, 2027, including pre- and post-planning days. You’ll work two days per week (15 hours total), supporting school sites likely in the Simpsonville and Greer areas of South Carolina. Each day, plan to provide direct therapies to 8-10 students in tailored, 30-minute sessions, promoting student growth and development within the school setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active and valid South Carolina COTA license
• Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with supervisors and educational teams
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Commitment to supporting students’ academic and functional success

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under OTR supervision
• Deliver individualized and group therapy services to meet students’ IEP goals
• Maintain accurate therapy documentation and progress records
• Partner with teachers, families, and district staff to foster student achievement
• Participate in pre and post-year planning sessions and relevant team meetings
