Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical / Remote Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide exemplary care to an adult and geriatric patient population with various diagnoses, including diabetes, post-operative care, and wound management.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide patient care in a Medical Surgical setting with an average daily census of 28 patients.Monitor and manage patients with a diverse range of medical conditions, including bariatrics and wound vacs.Utilize Epic for documentation and Pyxis for medication management.Communicate effectively with the healthcare team using SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation) techniques.QualificationsMinimum of 1 year of nursing experience; 1st time travelers are welcome to apply.Current BLS certification required.Ability to float within the facility as needed, staying within the scope of practice.Shift Details3x12 Hour Night Shifts (19:00 - 07:00)Every other weekend is required, with the possibility of floating.Holiday and Time OffTravelers are expected to work one major holiday if assigned during the holiday period.
