Product Technician

This position requires presence onsite at our headquarters in the Kansas City metro area. Candidates must also be legally authorized to work in the United States. Job Brief We are looking for an experienced Product Technician who demonstrates a focused and detail-oriented work ethic within our production department. This position will report directly to the Production Manager and play a key role in helping the company manufacture and assemble the industry’s leading grease interceptors. Detail Work Location: Headquarters, Shawnee, KS Department: Production Job Type: Full-time, In-person Reports to: Production Manager The essence of this role: Assemble components and products according to company specifications, quality standards, and safety guidelines Maintain dependable attendance by reporting to work as scheduled Communicate and collaborate effectively with superiors, colleagues, and external contacts, demonstrating professionalism and constructive working relationships Assist in analyzing and developing new processes to improve production efficiency and product quality Typical daily and weekly activities of this role: Builds each product perfectly, at an even pace, and within cycle time Keeps a tidy work-center or area by working in an orderly fashion and returning the work-center or area to perfect condition at the end of each shift Be a monthly contributor to production technician improvement ideas (PTI’s), at least 1 per month Anticipates bottlenecks and directs them to the appropriate parties through PTI’s, “stopping the line”/red lights, and kaizen. Eliminate safety risks and improve ergonomics through PTI’s Certify to indoor/outdoor line and all accessories and maintain the standard.
