The Facilities Maintenance Technician repairs, installs, and removes equipment at company facilities and will travel daily between company facilities on the assigned campus. This position is located in Allen Park MI.As a Facilities Maintenance Technician II, you will:Provide facilities maintenance support such as plumbing, carpentry, door hardware, office furniture assemblies, minor electrical and minor fabricationProvide solutions and operate independently on jobs that are assignedAdvise and research repair methods with team membersEnter work order comments and timecardsTo be considered as a Facilities Maintenance Technician II, you will need:High school diploma or equivalent level of educationMinimum 3 years of general commercial / industrial facility maintenance experience or equivalent military experienceAble to solve practical problems and diagnose basic plumbing, electrical and equipment malfunctions (such as a compressed air systems or vehicle hoist)Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measurement, including fractionsCompany pool vehicle may be available to travel between buildings, but at times, may need to use personal vehicleValid drivers license with a good driving record and ability to pass our MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) standardsSkilled in the use of power and hand tools.
