Job: Warehouse/Box Truck Driver



Location: Atlanta, GA

Pay Rate : $20-25/HR


Job Description The right candidate for this position will be detail oriented, analytical, and professional, and will have opportunities for growth. This position will include filling customer orders in an efficient and effective manner, ensuring the quality of these orders meets company standards. Tools commonly used on the job include trays, dollies, pallets, trailers, forklifts, and pallet jacks; all of these tools must be used proficiently and in accordance with safety standards set by government regulations and company rules. Work is primarily performed indoors.

Responsibilities:

• Assists with unloading incoming materials and supplies, checks and signs delivery slips
• Inspects and verifies incoming items against invoices or other documents, records shortages and rejects damaged goods
• Organizes goods received based on present and upcoming projects
• May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store items
• Communicates with warehouse manager on all shipments received
• Tracking inventory level, cycle counts as necessary
• Willing to work from 8am to 5pm, Monday thru Friday
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or an equivalent.

• 1 years' experience in a high-volume warehouse environment preferred.

• Experience with forklift, forklift certified or able to become forklift certified.

• Able to operate a pallet jack.

• Proficiency in material handling and stock control

• Unquestionable personal integrity and work ethic

• Extreme attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic Math Skills

• Able to take initiative and work independently.

• Strong customer service mindset and driven to find resolution.

• Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Prefer a candidate with some computer savvy

Physical Requirements:

• Able to pass a drug check and background investigation.

• Able to read, comprehend, and follow documentation written in English

• Must be able to lift 70 lbs safely over your head. To include standing, bending and kneeling as needed to perform this task.

• Able to sit and stand for long periods of time

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Forklift: 1 year (Preferred, but not necessary)

• Shipping & receiving: 1 year (Preferred, but will train the right candidate)
