Pay Range: $20 to $25 an hour.

Client Industry: Medical Device / Diagnostics

Job Mode: Onsite

Duration: 5 to 6 Months of Contract (Possibility of Extension based on business needs and performance)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Quality Control Technician to support laboratory quality activities within a regulated manufacturing environment. The selected candidate will perform laboratory testing, review production documentation, maintain laboratory equipment, and ensure compliance with quality system requirements. This role requires strong laboratory skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established procedures while maintaining accurate records. The position plays an important role in ensuring products consistently meet quality and regulatory standards prior to release.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inprocess and final release testing of laboratory products.
• Conduct laboratory testing using approved procedures and laboratory equipment.
• Review batch records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments according to established procedures.
• Investigate and troubleshoot technical and quality related issues.
• Document laboratory results accurately and maintain complete records.
• Support Quality Management System activities and regulatory compliance.
• Follow laboratory safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Laboratory Practices.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and perform required cleaning procedures.
• Use laboratory equipment including pipettes and pH meters.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor degree in Biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum one year of laboratory or Quality Control experience.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Laboratory Practices.
• Experience performing laboratory testing and documenting results.
• Experience reviewing production documentation and batch records.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of experience in a regulated industry.
• Experience with FDA, ISO, and USDA regulated environments.
• Experience performing ELISA assays.
• Knowledge of molecular diagnostics or immunochromatographic assays.
• Experience with statistics and data analysis.
• Experience using ERP system, inventory, manufacturing, or database software.
• Medical device or diagnostics industry experience.
