Automotive Technician
Location: Saco, ME If you're tired of flat-rate games, slow shops, or being treated like just another number, this could be the change you're looking for. We're hiring an Automotive Technician who knows how to diagnose problems, make quality repairs, and take pride in doing the job right. This is a busy, established shop with steady work year-round, modern equipment, and a team that values good technicians. Whether you're looking to sharpen your diagnostic skills, earn more certifications, or simply work somewhere that appreciates experienced mechanics, this is a shop where you can build a long-term career. What You'll Be Working On- Diagnostics and repair of brakes, steering, suspension, electrical, engine performance, HVAC, and drivability issues
- Preventative maintenance and scheduled services
- Using modern scan tools and diagnostic equipment to find and repair problems correctly
- A/C diagnosis and repair
- Maine State Safety Inspections (or obtaining your inspection license)
- Communicating repairs with the service team and documenting completed work
- Keeping your work area organized and professional
- 2+ years of automotive repair experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic abilities
- Comfortable working independently while being part of a team
- Own your basic hand tools
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- ASE certifications are a plus, but we're happy to help good technicians continue earning them
- Maine State Inspection License and EPA 609 certification, or willingness to obtain them
- $22-$28/hour , depending on experience
