Description

• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions that emphasize language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team comprising physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to formulate comprehensive care solutions.
• Provide educational support to patients and families, fostering progress outside of the therapy room.
• Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy interventions to maintain a seamless care experience throughout the patient's journey.
• Ensure meticulous and timely documentation in compliance with local, federal, and organizational protocols.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution is required.
• A completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is necessary if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• A valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist is mandatory.
• Having a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• You must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of starting work.
