Tactical Buyer

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities As our Tactical Buyer, you will coordinate procurement of goods and services including raw materials, equipment, and supplies. You will also manage vendor relationships, prepare purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure quality and timely receipt of products. Preparing RFQs and purchase orders. Monitoring deliveries and expediting orders. Negotiating contracts and reviewing bids. Managing vendor performance and records. Resolving issues with defective goods. Maintaining inventory and purchasing systems. Supporting product development and special projects. Additional duties as assigned. What You Need to Succeed Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field; or equivalent work experience. 3-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite and computer tools. (Strong Excel skills needed) Must have experience with SAP.
