Senior Systems EngineerWe are recruiting for a senior level Systems Engineer to support a heavy travel schedule deploying mission-critical solutions. The Systems Engineer will work directly with customers and lead engineering efforts working with a small team for design, integration, and deployment. Qualified candidates will have expertise supporting a lead role in technical execution ranging from system design through to sustainment.Travel: Up to 75% travel CONUS and OCONUS Security: Current DoD clearance is required for consideration Role and responsibilities include:Support field deployment and technical execution for end to end network and compute systemsProvide hands-on architecture and design expertise including serving as technical authorityLead system integration, validation, and field deployment activitiesServe as primary technical interface to customers and stakeholdersLead small engineering teams and drive technical standardsCoordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure mission successRequirements include:U.S. citizen, no dual citizenshipCurrent security clearance (secret at a minimum)Availability to support extensive CONUS and OCONUS travelBachelor's degree in a related discipline; equivalent years of related experience will be considered in lieu of a degreeCurrent CCNA or higherDemonstrated experience leading engineering efforts for high profile complex technical environments10-15 years of systems engineering experience including design and architecture level responsibilitiesExpertise with the following technologies:Root cause analysis and issue resolutionCisco networking including switching, routing, OSPF, GBPVMware ESXiLinux system administration including CLI, networking, and multi-NIC configurationKubernetes in production environmentsIPv6, VPN, VRF, and PKI implementationSpace, Weight, and Power (SWaP) analysis for integrated systemsAbility to interact with customer and stakeholders including technical and non-technical team membersAvailability to support CONUS and OCONUS travel (50-75%)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to manage schedules and workloadsAbility to convey technical information to non-technical team members
